MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the IMSE Department is to provide students with a high quality education which integrates the latest research and practices of the field into the curriculum, to pursue excellence in basic and applied research in the field of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering, and to provide service to the profession and to society.
IE PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
As a result of thier education:
- Our graduates will have comprehensive knowledge of industrial engineering and related scientific principles.
- Our graduates will have the ability to think creatively, communicate effectively, and work productively in teams.
- Our graduates will have an understanding of ethical and professional responsibilities of an industrial engineer.
- Our graduates will be motivated to contribute to society in activities such as role models for the young, advisory positions for government or non-profit agencies, and as active members in professional organizations.
- Our graduates will pursue life-long learning opportunities, such as short courses, seminars, professional conferences, certificate programs, and graduate studies.
