The IMSE
Department offers advanced degrees in areas of study pertinent
to the design, evaluation, and operation of a variety of
industrial systems in the service sector, government
organizations and manufacturing companies. Opportunities in the
department vary based on courses and research opportunities.
Some areas of concentration include information technology,
production planning and control of manufacturing systems,
applied automation, applied engineering statistics, quality
control and reliability, applied and theoretical operations
research, and engineering economic systems. The IMSE Department
offers graduate programs in industrial engineering areas, which
provide students with a strong mathematical, technical
background to solve challenging problems with state-of-the-art
techniques.
