I am a first year Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering at the University of South Florida. I have received my B.S. (2008 )and my M.S. (2012) both in Industrial Engineering from North University (Universidad del Norte) in Barranquilla, Colombia. During two years between my bachelor and master studies, I worked at The Coca-Cola Company and Kimberly-Clark Corporation as a sales analyst. The I turned to the academic world where I worked at North University, the Autonomous University of the Caribbean, University of Atlántico, Simón Bolívar University and the Polytechnic University of the Caribbean Coast as Instructor and Junior Researcher.

I am currently working under the supervision of Dr. Hadi Charkhgard, and I'm focusing my research on Multiobjective Optimization, more specifically in Mixed Integer Programs. My research interests include Optimization and Resilient Supply Chain Design.
